Dr Brinn brings to Out Health twenty years of experience providing sensitive, patient-centered healthcare to people of diverse backgrounds. She began her career with a medical degree from Michigan State University and completed her family medicine residency at the University of Wisconsin. It was during her time as a resident physician at Northeast Clinic–under the mentorship of Dr. Kathy Oriel and others–that Dr. Brinn gained greater awareness of the health challenges facing the LGBTQ+ community. She has since practiced as a family doctor at the Prairie Clinic in Sauk City, Wisconsin and as an urgent care provider in the Madison area. Dr. Brinn is delighted to return to her primary care roots in the collaborative, patient-focused environment of Out Health. She looks forward to serving folks seeking gender-affirming care and offers medically assisted therapy for people struggling with substances. She balances her work life by reading, gardening, and hiking. She lives with her spouse, Andy, and their dog, Yogi.
